CARY MULLEN 'CHARACTER' AWARD

FOR COURAGE, COMMITMENT, CONFIDENCE AND CAMARADERIE

The Cary Mullen Character Award is presented to six athletes. This award is given "in recognition for displaying the character of a champion: courage, commitment, confidence, and camaraderie" and nominations are expected to illustrate these qualities.

Six awards are presented each year to:

• 2 awards for U12 & under
• 2 awards for U14/U16
• 1 FIS age athlete
• 1 AST athlete

Nominations are welcome from coaches, athletes and general club members. Athletes can be nominated by coaches, or fellow teammates. Nominations by oneself or ones parent will NOT be considered. 

Nominations for this award must be unique from the athletes other scholarship applications: Teacher or Coach Reference letters are not intended to be used for nominations and will NOT be considered. 

Who inspires you? Let us know by submitting a letter that tells how the nominee demonstrates courage, commitment, confidence and camaraderie. The letter can be submitted using the link below.

SELECTION PROCESS

All applications are reviewed by an independent Awards and Scholarships Committee. Selected recipients will be notified by e-mail or phone. Successful applicants will be recognized on Alberta Alpine’s website, newsletter and social media. All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final.
