GRAYDYN SWANSON

Graydyn Swanson is a Calgary, Alberta ski racer and a new member of the Alberta Ski Team. He came up through the club system with Sunshine Alpine Racers, competing across all disciplines and working his way through the Alberta racing scene, as well as a year at Apex 2100 in Europe before earning his place on AST. Some of his standout results include finishing 5th out of 80 international athletes at a FIS Children’s Cup in Slovenia, as well as a 2nd place overall finish at Sun Peaks in GS, and he is consistently competing among the top athletes in his age group. His goals for the season are to continue developing across all disciplines, earn strong results in competition, and take the next step toward competing at the Nor-Am Cup and eventually World Cup level.

Away from the hill, Graydyn is a competitive athlete in several other sports. He enjoys golf and waterskiing, and he also has a strong interest in photography and sports videography. He is a 1.5 handicap golfer and was the 2025 junior club champion at the Calgary Golf and Country Club. He brings the same competitive mindset from the golf course and water to ski racing, always looking for ways to improve and challenge himself.
