U19 / u21 David murray memorial Scholarship Application

DAVID MURRAY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - $750

This award was established in memory of Crazy Canuck, Dave Murray. A $750 scholarship is available from the David Murray Ski Foundation to an Alberta athlete who is working towards becoming a member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team. Please include a brief report of your general experience and race results from the current season and your goals for the future.

This scholarship is awarded based on the following: athletic ability/sportsmanship/leadership, recommendation to committee by coach or other club representative, financial need, and priority given to U19 level athletes. The Alberta Alpine Scholarship Committee makes final selection for this award.

Deadline for applications: March 27, 2025 - 12pm

SELECTION PROCESS

All applications are reviewed by an independent Awards and Scholarships Committee. Selected recipients will be notified by e-mail or phone. Successful applicants will be recognized on Alberta Alpine’s website, newsletter and social media. All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final.
