GAVIN JOHNSON

Gavin started his ski racing journey at the Red Deer Ski Club at four years old. Skiing there until U10, he then moved to the Sunshine Ski Club and raced until first year U16. He then continued on with the Panorama Ski Team into FIS before being selected for the provincial ski team. When he was at Pano, he met teammates Will, Cole, and Graeme who would all make the move up to the Alberta Ski Team with him.

Gavin loves skiing for the competitive aspect, travel, camaraderie and the many lessons on and off snow he has learned along the way.

Off the ski hill, Gavin loves to hunt, fish, dirtbike, waterski…essentially anything to do with the outdoors…and spend time with family.

Gavin’s goals for this year are to perform well in the Nor-Am series and score some points as well as transfer his training skiing into racing.
