With Mother Nature winning this year’s round, attendees of the annual Quest for Gold golf fundraiser presented by GMC at Silvertip Resort were in for a unique event with the Alberta ski community on June 1st.
The 19th hole was the only one not cancelled due to snow and over 100 people were on hand to enjoy the program. Harrison Wolfe from Wolfe GMC Canmore introduced the 2026/7 Alberta Ski Team athletes, Ken Read announced the winners of this year’s Read Family Scholarships – Shae Mullen and Caleb Brooks – and we recognized our retiring provincial team athletes with alumni athlete belt buckles and best wishes for the future.
