Every Kid Can Play Funding Announcement
Alberta Alpine is excited to announce we’ve received significant grant funding from the Government of Alberta through the Every Kid Can Play program, helping make sport and recreation more accessible to Alberta youth and their families.
This two-year investment will support the launch of First Tracks – Skiers for Life, a new Alberta Alpine initiative designed to help more young Albertans discover alpine skiing through local clubs, develop their skills, and build a lifelong connection to the sport.
Through First Tracks, eligible entry-level athletes will receive support to help them get started with a local Alberta Alpine member club, including:
- A credit toward Alberta Alpine registration and age-appropriate event fees
- Connections to a local Alberta Alpine member club
- Qualified coaching in a fun, supportive club environment
The goal is simple: help more children experience the joy of skiing while building skills, friendships, confidence and a lifelong love of the sport.
