The Husky Snow Stars program is a skill development tool for young skiers aged between 5 and 12 years old. This seven-step program, which is promoted by Alpine Canada Alpin, the Canadian Ski Coaches' Federation and the Provincial Ski Associations, guides children, coaches, and parents through a progression of skills aligned with the Long Term Athlete Development Plan (AIM 2 Win)
The Husky Snow Stars program is a premiere skill development program geared towards Canada's youngest aspiring ski participants and is supported by Husky Energy in the form of parent and coach's guides, athlete report cards, skill level certificates, videos, trading cards, bibs and festivals.

Snow Stars Festivals are to provide children an event that celebrates the skill development of children, and parents that are participating in the Husky Snow Stars program.
The goal of these events is to celebrate the progress of skiers and ski racers of all ability levels in an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding environment, with each participant leaving the event with a sense of accomplishment and enthusiasm for the sport.
