Canmore, AB – As Alberta Alpine’s current President and CEO, Nigel Loring will be stepping down as of June 30, 2018, With Loring moving on, Alberta Alpine’s Board of Directors is currently seeking a new President. This individual is a strategic thinker and an advocate for the sport of alpine ski racing and ski cross in Alberta, building strong relationships with members of Alberta Alpine (including member clubs), external stakeholders such as sponsors, partners, Alpine Canada etc. As President, you will be responsible for driving and delivering the strategic and operational priorities of Alberta Alpine as agreed with the Board of Directors. Loring has been at the helm of Alberta Alpine since September 2014 and has made many positive contributions and advancements for the Association since that time. He has maintained a clear focus on finding support and opportunities needed for Alberta’s developing athletes, coaches, volunteers and officials.
