(Canmore, AB) – Alberta Alpine’s President and CEO, Nigel Loring has announced he will be stepping down as of June 30, 2018. Loring has been at the helm of Alberta Alpine since September 2014 and has made many positive contributions and advancements for the Association since that time. He always maintained a clear focus on finding support and opportunities needed for Alberta’s developing athletes, coaches, volunteers and officials.
Alberta Alpine Board Chair, Joanne Gray is appreciative of Loring’s continued service and commitment to the Association. “On behalf of the board, I wish to thank Nigel for his ongoing professionalism and dedication in ensuring a timely search and a smooth transition.” The Association will continue its Strategic Planning process and commence a search as soon as possible. “Alberta Alpine is strong and we will continue to grow and serve our membership,” stated Gray.
