Alberta Alpine is pleased to announce Mike White and Jennifer Clarridge will be joining the organization as assistant coaches for the Alpine Insurance Alberta Ski Team.

Mike White, most recently the U16 head coach with Calgary Alpine for the past 5 seasons, grew up racing at Fortress, began his coaching career with FAST in 2003 and has coached from Nancy Green all the way up to FIS level athletes.

Jennifer Clarridge has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary, is CSCF PL trained, a CSIA Level 2 and her Ski Cross certification. Originally a K2 and FIS racer with the Huronia Alpine Development Team in Ontario, Jen has coached with Big White, the Lake Louise Ski Club and most recently as the FIS coach with the Vancouver Ski Team.

Jen and Mike will be joining existing AST assistant coach JM Martel under the direction of new head coach Thedy Brandli. Alberta Alpine Athletic Director Cam Stephen is “excited about the new staff and believe that the skills and experiences they possess will have a positive impact on the team. We are looking forward to a successful season ahead!”

Alberta Alpine would like to note that after a successful appeal Sam Wall has rejoined the Alberta Ski Team for the 2017-18 season. The complete list of Alpine Insurance Alberta Ski Team members and staff can be found below:
