Canmore, AB (April 18, 2017) – After 6 years with Alberta Alpine and the last 3 as Head Coach of the Alberta Ski Team, Brett Zagozewski is stepping down from his post at the end of April. Under Brett’s leadership of the provincial ski team, the program has produced this year alone, 20 FIS victories, two athletes nominated to the Canadian Development Team and two recently accepting athletic scholarships to NCAA Universities. A remarkable achievement and Alberta Alpine thanks Brett for his many contributions and successes.

The organization wishes Brett all the best in his future endeavors and is looking forward to building upon the success of the current program.

Alberta Alpine Athletics Director, Cam Stephen will continue as before to oversee 2018 Team selection camp and process and will take over AST operational responsibilities on an interim basis as of May 1.
