June 2, 2015 Registration for the 2015-2016 season will open shortly, likely late on Thursday, June 4.
New forms are posted here now. Membership fees have remained the same, however ACA has no control over the insurance fees and they have gone up, which will affect FIS fees.
ACA has introduced some new insurance options which will be available for purchase.
Please contact your club to register for FIS. All required forms and information sheets are posted above.
June 1, 2015 – FIS registration should open by June 4 this year. Alpine Canada is currently setting its fee structure and reviewing all forms. Alberta Alpine will open registration shortly after receiving ACA’s registration package.
Information and forms will be posted on the website underthe Registration tab, Alpine Chairs will be notified and notices will be placed on Facebook and the website.
The FIS calendar runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. If any athletes will be participating in programs, including dryland and on-snow during the summer, they should register prior to June 24 to ensure activation by July 1.
The full FIS registration package will be posted on the Alberta Alpine website within 24 hours of receiving the information from Alpine Canada. Notices will be posted on Recent News, Facebook and sent to Alpine Chairs.
We have been told that ACA may change the FIS Medical Form this year. We advise waiting till the new forms are posted before seeing your doctor.
Please note that clubs are welcome to create earlier deadlines to suit their own club requirements and Alberta Alpine is happy to receive complete club packages as soon as they are ready.
